Points Awards

1)     For the 2008 season drivers need not volunteer for a workday to be eligible for the points championship.

2) One throw-away:  At the conclusion of the season all drivers will have one race result discarded, this will be their worst finish.  Note that DQs may not be used as a throw-away, DNS and DNF are OK, so is a no-show.
