General
Rules:
- 2010 IKF and Nor-Cal Tech Rules and Regulations
will be strictly enforced.
- Snell
2000, or later, helmet required. An approved abrasive resistant heavy
weight vinyl, leather or nylon jacket, or race suit, along with full
finger gloves, neck collar and high top shoes, are mandatory.
- Weight or ballast must safety wired and painted WHITE, including purpose built weight cans, per IKF rules.
- Bridgestone YKC tires in all classes.
- Three karts make a class as listed in
the IKF Rule Book
- Mandatory drip pan in every pit.
- Tag Racers: Must have your class weight painted
in white on your engine.
- Must
be an MBK Member to receive Championship points. Championship is based
on 8 races with 1 required race work day and 1 throw away. 60% of the races
must be run as a full class (3 karts or more) to qualify for year end
championship points.
